All of the journals and notebooks on this page have been made by hand, by me. This includes the cutting of the paper, the sewing of each signature, and any finishing details. Please visit the About page to learn why I spend so much time doing this thing that I love.

A Novel Exhibit

Distinguishing Features: Coptic and long stitch binding over seam binding tape. Cover papers (over sturdy Davey board) are from an old type catalog and found textured paper. Text papers are a mixture of Mohawk superfine in cream, map inclusions, pieces of a braille menu, vintage ledger paper, and pages pulled from a handwritten 1953 Naval logbook. This book is one-of-a-kind, as there are only so many of these papers to be found.

Perfect for use as a daily notebook, as there is one page for every day of a six month period (plus one or two to grow on). Closes with a black elastic strap.

Inside-Out Hardcover Buttonhole

Distinguishing Characteristics: Hardcover buttonhole binding. Coated grey library bookcloth over acid-free Davey board. Endsheets are beautiful turquoise-green slub silk bookcloth. You can set your coffee cup on it and still keep the tender insides unharmed. Text paper is from a vintage ledger. Extremely beautiful but a little waxy--not suitable for use with fountain pens. Other types of pen and pencil will work fine.
